I just found an 86 Savage at a lawnmower repair shop, ourtwrdly looks pretty good. the repair guy said they had it running but while starting the motor kicked back and broke part of the starter housing (im not sure what this part is I didnt see anything broken). the owner didnt want to pay so he's had it since last june. Said I could have it for $150.00. Over all its in pretty good shape. Also the front brak master cylinder looks like it need to be repaired, the brak lever flops freely. If this starter housing part can be ordered does this sound like something that can be back in service?? A $150 is hard to pass up if i can get it up and running for say $500.
